Liver and Gallbladder Purging

"When your liver flows in balance, your whole body follows — nurture your health at its source."

Liver Gallbladder PurgingYour liver performs over 500 vital functions. It plays a major role in detoxification, digestion, metabolism, hormone regulation and more.

Contrary to popular belief, gallstones are often formed in the liver — not just the gallbladder. The stones shown below were released by a man in his 50s who completed 3 purges over 2 months — and he has no gallbladder.

Released Gallstones

When the liver becomes overloaded with these stones, it cannot perform its many jobs properly and as a direct result, many other systems and organs are impacted.

These stones are what create a 'fatty liver' diagnosis, and even if you don't drink alcohol, there are many other contributing factors to this disease. In fact, non alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is more common than the alcohol variety and affects 1 in 3 Australians.

From skin issues like; Psoriasis, Eczema, Dermatitis, to autoimmune conditions like; Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's disease, Lupus, Hashimoto's and MS, to digestive disorders like IBS, IBD, Diverticulitis, Dyspepsia, Pancreatitis...the list just goes on and on! The liver is involved in all conditions of poor health.

Freeing your liver from the burden of gallstones will help improve your health because it allows the body's innate detoxification pathways to perform better.

Your liver filters your blood and picks up all the toxins coming through the GI tract. It then passes these toxins down the path for excretion through the bowels. If this process is impacted, toxins are re-absorbed and recycled back into the blood where they continue to wreak havoc with your health.

This cleanse protocol was created by Andreas Moritz, a pioneer in Ayurveda, Iridology and Vibrational Medicine. While his protocol works, I’ve enhanced it for modern day needs — with additional steps to properly prepare your body.

Warning: Many people follow Andreas’ method without preparation and experience side effects or poor results. If you’re on medication or have underlying health concerns, you must be supervised by someone experienced.

What is involved in preparing the body?

Before you can address the liver and gallbladder issues, you must first provide a clear pathway for excretion. This involves clearing out the bowels and this takes about 6-8 weeks. This  also involves reviewing your diet to ensure the right foods are being consumed, taking lots of cleansing herbs and weekly colonics/enemas.

What are Gallstones?

Gallstones are not actually 'stones'; they’re hardened deposits of bile, bilirubin, cholesterol, unprocessed fats and other toxins that form in your gallbladder and liver. These accumulate over many years of neglecting your health and failing to eat a balanced diet. These accumulations crystalise and eventually harden to form these stones. When you are told you have a 'bile duct obstruction' this is what is causing the obstruction, and often lots of pain.

Why are some stones green and others yellow?

There is no way of telling which stones come from the gallbladder and which stones come from the liver and the colour does not indicate one or the other. The colour tells a story about their age. The darker the green, the higher the level of concentrated bile and usually the older the stones. The yellow stones are usually younger and have less bile in them.

What if I don’t have a Gallbladder?

If you don't have a gallbladder, it is even more important for you to do this work! The gallbladder is the backup storage unit for bile and when this organ is removed and the diet is not changed to support this situation, your liver will continue to produce the same amount of bile to digest your food, but instead of being stored in the gallbladder, it drips continuously into your digestive system. This is precisely why changing your diet post gallbladder removal surgery is imperative, because if you don't, excess bile can damage the liver and the pancreas.

Is one purge enough?

No, it is not. Everyone should aim to do at least 4 purges, but since everyone is different, generally 6-8 purges are required. You can do a purge every 2-4 weeks (but no sooner, as you need to give your body a break in between.)

How do the stones exit the body?

Via the bowels, and no it most definitely does not hurt! Think about the size of your poo in comparison.

How do I know if I have Liver stones or Gallstones?

Most people often don't realise they even have gallstones in the gallbladder or in the liver. They usually don't cause any alarming symptoms until it's at a stage of needing urgent attention.

If a gallstone gets stuck in one of the bile ducts and creates a blockage, it can trigger sudden, sharp pain that can last for up to a few hours. Known as biliary colic, a blocked bile duct can also cause nausea and vomiting and other chronic symptoms.

Checking your liver enzymes can indicate organ stress, but not always. In the many cases I have managed, where ultrasounds have shown clear obstructions, fatty deposits and even cysts, pathology showed no signs of stress.

In my experience, by the time you see elevated liver enzymes on blood tests, there is already advanced disease present.

How many people have you helped?

I have coached hundreds of people through this protocol over the past 8 years. All of these people have come from various walks of life, with varying health conditions.

Some of these people have had serious health issues, some of them have been diagnosed with fatty liver and told they have gallbladder stones and even obstructions.

I have helped hundreds of people avoid surgery and save their gallbladders and hundreds more reverse fatty liver. How long this work takes depends on how long you've been having issues, how serious your condition is and how committed you are to the process.

Are Kidney stones the same?

Very similar yes, but this protocol doesn't directly deal with the kidneys and whilst the work we do definitely improves kidney health and in some cases dissolves kidney stones, often there is more targeted work that is required.

This protocol is not a quick fix — it requires full commitment.
