Live & Dry Blood Analysis

A single drop of blood can reveal an incredible amount of information about the true and current state of your health

At Renew Health Co., Live & Dry Blood Analysis is one of our most insightful tools for uncovering the underlying causes of imbalance in the body.

This technique allows us to examine your blood in its natural, living state - providing a visual understanding of how your cells are performing and where stress may be occurring internally.

What Is Live Blood Analysis?

Live Blood Analysis (LBA) provides an immediate, real-time view of your body’s internal environment. A single drop of fresh capillary blood is taken from your fingertip and observed under a high-powered microscope while it’s still alive and active; exactly as it behaves inside your body.

Unlike standard pathology testing which requires us to ask specific questions and delivers equally specific answers; LBA takes a completely different approach. Instead of testing for individual markers, it allows us to simply observe what is happening in your blood in real time. We're not limited by what we ask the lab to measure - we see the whole picture. It reveals patterns, relationships and imbalances as they appear in the moment; offering a true snapshot of your internal environment. From there, it's the practitioners role to interpret what's seen in context with your symptoms, history and overall presentation - translating that visual information into meaningful insight for you.

Through this lens, we can observe:

  • The quality, shape and vitality of your red blood cells
  • Nutrient deficiencies or poor absorption affecting energy and repair
  • Oxidative stress and free radical activity
  • Digestive markers, such as undigested fats, proteins, or microbial imbalances
  • Circulatory and oxygenation levels
  • Immune system performance, including white blood cell activity and response
  • Toxic or inflammatory patterns that may be burdening your system

This hands-on assessment gives you a visual understanding of your body’s current state of health; empowering you to see exactly what’s happening beneath the surface.

What Is Dry Blood Analysis?

Dry Blood Analysis (DBA), also known as the Oxidative Stress Test, provides a long-term view of your body’s health history. It uses multiple droplets of blood that are allowed to dry naturally on a slide. As the blood dries, unique protein and fibrin patterns form - each one reflecting oxidative stress, tissue damage, and the body’s ability to repair and recover.

Unlike Live Blood Analysis, which shows what’s happening right now, Dry Blood Analysis acts as a map of your health journey. Each droplet represents a different point in time, allowing us to trace the body’s stress and healing responses over months, years, and even decades.

This process helps identify:

  • Turning points where the body began to shift out of balance
  • Early signs of potential disease manifestation before symptoms appear
  • Pivotal life stages where specific health challenges may have developed
  • How long stress or dysfunction has been affecting certain systems

Because each ring within a droplet correlates with a different body system, and each droplet corresponds to a different stage of life, we can mark significant milestones in your personal health timeline.

This deeper understanding allows us to see when and where patterns of stress first emerged, helping uncover the true origin of long-term imbalances.

Live & Dry Bloods Together

Used together, Live and Dry Blood Analysis provide both an immediate and long-range picture of your health.

Live blood reveals what’s happening now, and dry blood reflects how long it's been happening for.

This combined view helps identify root causes of imbalance - not just symptoms - and informs a tailored wellness plan that may include detoxification support, nutritional guidance, and lifestyle strategies for restoring balance.

What To Expect During Your Session

Before Your Appointment

Please arrive in a fasted state (no food for at least four hours prior) and ensure you’re well hydrated (at least one litre of water before your session).

Avoid taking medications or supplements before your appointment, unless otherwise advised. Water is fine.

Collection

A gentle finger prick using a sterile lancet is performed to obtain two small samples; one for Live Blood and one for Dry Blood.

Our technique is extremely gentle and suitable for adults and children (aged 6+ years).

If your child is 3+ years and you're confident they can sit still for the samples to be taken then we're more than happy to help you.

Live Blood Assessment

The live blood sample is placed immediately under a high-powered microscope and projected onto a screen.

You’ll watch your own living blood in real time as we explain what is being observed - the quality of your red and white blood cells, signs of oxidative stress, and patterns that may suggest areas of imbalance.

Dry Blood Assessment

The dry blood sample is left to air dry for approximately 20 minutes before analysis.

Once fully dried, it’s examined for oxidative stress patterns and system correlations that reveal long-term health trends.

This process takes time and is conducted with great attention to detail.

Your Personal Report

Every key observation discussed during your session is documented in your personalised report.

This becomes a valuable reference point for your ongoing health journey and may inform tailored recommendations for nutrition, detoxification, and lifestyle support.
